The Nanyang Technological University Students’ Union (NTUSU) Executive Committee is the executive branch of the Union and is a subset of the Council. The Executive Committee formulates and implements policies, with the aim of enhancing the university experiences of the members, by creating a vibrant campus where members’ voices are heard and needs are met.
The Executive Committee is made up of officers elected as Union Representatives of various constituencies. The office-bearers manage the day-to-day running of the Union.
The Executive Committee is made up of four divisions and led by the President. The four divisions are Business and Corporate Communications Division, Welfare and Student Activities Division, General Secretariat Division and Financial Secretariat Division, which are led by the Vice President (Business and Corporate Communications), Vice President (Welfare and Student Activities), Honorary General Secretary and Honorary Financial Secretary respectively.

Gan Rui Yun (MEEC/4)
The President sets the strategic direction for the Executive Committee to advance students’ interests. He represents the voice of the undergraduates in meetings with the university management regarding policy-making and university projects.
Vice-President (Business & Corporate Communications)
Yosua Nathanael Santoso (EEE/3)
The Vice President (Business and Corporate Communications) manages the Union’s strategic communications to clearly portray the Union’s values in a consistent manner to the students as well as the external parties.
Vice-President (Welfare and Student Activities)
Low Choon Chye (AERO/4)
The Vice-President (Welfare and Student Activities) manages matters related to welfare and student activities, advising and suggesting policies that maximise the welfare of students and the vibrancy of the school.
Honorary General Secretary
How Yijie, Darren (ACC/3)
The Honorary General Secretary ensures that the internal governance system of the Union is accountable and transparent. He is also involved in maintaining the smooth operations of the Union, the Executive Committee and the Council.
Honorary Financial Secretary
Lim Strahan (SOC/2)
The Honorary Financial Secretary governs the finances of the Union and safeguards the interests of students through proper and prudent budgeting. He ensures timely reimbursements of claims to the committees in NTUSU and also strives to improve efficiency and transparency in the financial processes.
Business Projects Executive
The Business Projects Executive aims to encourage entrepreneurial spirit among students. Some of her existing projects include the U-Shop, U-Flea Market and U-Push Cart.
Corporate Liaison Executive
Edward Lim Xun Qian (MEBM/2)
The Corporate Liaison Executive heads the Corporate Liaison Office which is in-charge of corporate engagement and sponsorship with the objective of improving the welfare of the students. Balancing the interests of various parties made up the core of his job scope to ensure sustainable and mutually beneficial partnerships. His office also engages partners for our matriculation card discount scheme.
Corporate Communications Executive

The Corporate Communications Executive is responsible for all design matters, enhancing the corporate image fro Students’ Union and ensuring that U-insight provides student with relevant updates.
Corporate Communications Associate Executive
Zheng Ruoming (CSBU/1)
The Corporate Communications Associate Executive assists the Corporate Communications Executive in the management of design matters and the corporate image of the Union. She also assists in ensuring that U-insight provides relevant updates to the student population.
Welfare (Student Life) Executive
Auginia Natalia (BSFS/4)
The Welfare (Student Life) Executive ensures that the student life of the NTU community is well taken care of. This is done via the provision of welfare items such as examination welfare packs (U-study) as well as looking into bus services and food prices around campus.
Welfare (Development) Executive
Goh Yu Xian, Jayden (BUS/2)
The Welfare (Development) Executive ensures that the students of NTU are getting a holistic development on top of their curriculum. He does so by managing initiatives such as the Integrated Careers and Opportunities Network, as well as the Ministerial Forum, which allow students to broaden the horizons.
Orientation & Integration Executive
Goh Zhi Xian Jacob (BUS/2)
The Orientation & Integration Executive manages all orientation-related activities that are under the Union. These include our NTU Open House, Welcome Week as well as UOC (Union Orientation Programme). Additionally, he ensures that international students are able to feel the sense of belonging, and are able to integrate into the NTU community.
Orientation Associate Executive
Chia Angela (PHMA/3)
The Orientation Associate Executive assists the Orientation and Integration Executive in the planning and execution of orientation-related activities. Being the chairperson of UOC (Union Orientation Programme), she is able to provide her expertise and insights to work towards a better orientation system.
Student Engagement Executive
Bess Tay Qi Wen (ACC/2)
The Student Engagement Executive aims to have a two-way communication between the students and the Union. She is also responsible for collecting feedback from students and to propose initiatives to engage the students.
Student Engagement Associate Executive
Tan Yi Pin Bryan (AERO/4)
The Student Engagement Associate Executive assists the Student Engagement Executive in proposing initiatives that benefit the NTU population. Being the chairperson of NTU Fest, he works closely with the Student Engagement Executive to plan and execute the event.
Human Resource Executive
Lynnete Chng Jiamin (ELH/2)
The Human Resource Executive takes care of the learning and development of Ussociates to better serve the students. She develops and implements policies to maintain the effective use of personnel and to build an effective team. She acts as the point of contact between Ussociates for recruitment, bonding and management purposes.
Ong Jiamin Amanda (MAT/2)
The Operations Executive is in charge of the assets under the Union. She manages the Student Activity Centre and Global Lounge and strives to bring vibrancy to students through the activities there. She also maintains and updates notice boards at bus stops to provide timely information to students.
Operations (IT) Associate Executive
Priyanshu Singh (CSC/3)
The Operations (IT) Associate Executive manages the IT infrastructure of the Union, ensuring its smooth operation. He is also responsible for proposing new initiatives and systems that will meet students’ needs better.
Por Hui Fang (ACBS/1)
The Finance Executive supervises all treasurers under the Union to ensure that the reimbursement process for various school-wide activities has been adhered to. At the same time, she processes submitted claims and liaises with the NTU Office of Finance to resolve any financial issues that the committee may be facing.
